1.	What is BPI Express Cash?

	BPI Express Cash is a MasterCard Electronic prepaid card.


2.	What are the uses/ functions of my BPI Express Cash card?

	Your BPI Express Cash card can be used:

	•	To pay for purchases in establishments that honor MasterCard and/or MasterCard Electronic.

	•	To load Globe/Touch Mobile prepaid mobile phones. Your mobile phone number has to be linked/enrolled with your BPI Express Cash card.

	•	In the ATMs for inquiring your balance, withdrawing cash, and for getting a mini statement.


3.	Can I get a statement of account?

	No, but you can get a mini statement that displays your last five (5) transactions. You can get a mini statement through all BPI ATMs nationwide.


4.	What are the other ways to get a mini statement, besides the ATM?

	Through BPI Express Phone (dial 89-100 and listen to the voice-recorded message) and through BPI Express Online (via the Internet).


5.	What are the available facilities/ channels for inquiring the balance of my card?

	You can check your balance through BPI Express Phone 89-100, through BPI Express Mobile, through BPI Express Online (enrollment in the BPI Express Online Internet Banking Facility required), and through BPI ATMs nationwide.

	BPI Express Mobile (via SMS*, no enrollment required)

	1. On your mobile phone, key-in BALEC < space > < 16-digit BPI Express Cash card number >

	Example: BALEC 5577531031001234

	2. Send to 2274 for Globe/TM subscribers, or 3274 for SMART/Talk n Text subscribers.

	3. Your BPI Express Cash card balance will be sent to you via SMS


6.	Is there a required maintaining balance for my BPI Express Cash ard?

	None.


7.	If there is money left in the card, will it earn interest?

	No.


8.	What is the minimum withdrawable amount?

	P500


9.	What is the maximum withdrawable amount per day?

	P10,000


11.	Can I withdraw cash over the counter at the branches?

	No. You can only withdraw cash from BPI ATMs.


12.	Will I see my updated balance in the ATM receipt after withdrawing from my BPI Express Cash card?

	No. Your balance will not be printed on the ATM receipt. You have to insert the card again in the ATM machine and choose balance inquiry service to see your updated balance after the last withdrawal. Or, you can also check your balance by calling BPI Express Phone (89-100).


13.	How long before my BPI Express Cash card expires?

	Your BPI Express Cash card will expire 2 years from the day you purchased your card. The validity period can be seen on the face of the card shown as "valid dates."


14.	Can I use my BPI Express Cash card abroad?

	No. Your BPI Express Cash card is valid only in the Philippines, as printed on the left-most portion of the card.


15.	Can the ATM capture my BPI Express Cash card?

	No. The ATM cannot capture your BPI Express Cash card even if you mistakenly key-in an invalid PIN three (3) times. The only time your card can be captured is when the ATM suddenly becomes offline during transactions.
